Drawing Captain Jack Sparrow

I want to draw jack sparrows face on a pirate gnome. This is am impressive drawing. Such talent. Great job. Can you give me ideas what base cloth I should make the body out of to better paint on fabric. I thought maybe I could do the eyes on non fabric but I have no idea what medium to use
